  • Rene Taylor

    Rene Taylor, LCSW
    Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I’m Rene Taylor (she/her/hers), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience providing therapy to clients struggling with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, career and life transitions. I believe that building a strong therapeutic alliance is essential to working successfully with clients. I achieve this by creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Working in the non for profit sector for the majority of my career I had the opportunity to observe the impact that the lack of access to mental health care and support can have on individuals, families and communities regardless of racial, cultural or economic background. Transitioning into the private sector has afforded me the opportunity to extend my knowledge and experience to support individuals and families across a broader range of demographics and provide more access to care via teletherapy.

Through my personalized, integrated approach, together we can uncover unhealthy patterns of behavior and focus on developing the tools you need to move toward healing and growth. Before transitioning to the private sector, I began my career in the non-profit sector and was able to observe the impact that the lack of access to mental health care and support can have on individuals, families and communities regardless of racial, cultural or economic background. It is through this lens that I continue to extend my knowledge and diversified clinical experience to provide care to individuals and families across a broad demographic range.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, dancing, cheering on my favorite NY sports teams, traveling, and spending time with my husband, three children and dog.
